Growing Up

I'll admit that I haven't been the best blogger. I spent the majority of last week in Atlanta with my grandparents (Schilling's). My grandfather broke his hip about a month ago and came home from the rehab hospital almost 3 weeks ago. My sister, who is a nurse, went down to Atlanta with me. I had seen my grandfather in the hospital, but actually seeing him at home with a walker and not being able to just get up and go was really weird for me. It's hard growing up and having to start taking care of the people who used to take care of you. I'm not the best person when it comes to medical stuff....I don't like blood, pain, shots, and medical jargon (sp?). I mostly kept my grandmother company and ran errands for her. We also went with her senior group from church to see Mamma Mia. The show was great!!! I absolutely loved it! I still can't believe I rode the charter bus with all the Catholic senior citizens! It was pretty comical! In other news...Jason still has not found a job. He is trying to set up an interview with someone in Birmingham for next week. The idea of moving is actually starting to grow on me....mostly because my best friends live down there, but also because I like change. I would definitely miss living here, but I will do what I have to do. It's easier for me to find a job in another city, than it is for Jason. Keep us in your prayers and hope something turns up soon!

Auburn Tickets!

Auburn football tickets go on sale at midnight tonight and I am SOOOOO excited! The only downside is I have to stay up until 1:00 our time, because Auburn is on central time. This may not seem like a big deal to some people, but for someone who is use to going to bed around 10:00, it is a big deal. Hopefully I can convince Jason to stay up with me (even though he is an Alabama fan). I hope we get tickets to a good game. Auburn actually plays Tennessee this year, so I would really love to go to that game! I have a lot of friends who just LOVE Tennessee, and I would love it if Auburn beat them! Anyway...enough of football talk...Jason and I are going over to my parents house to see them before they leave for San Diego. Pray that they have a safe flight!
