So I went out with my best friends last night and had a great time! We went to dinner at Jacksons and then went out for drinks at the Blue Monkey. It was a late night...Jason and I didn't get home until 11:00! That is late for us. I miss hanging out with my B'ham friends, but it is always so much fun catching up. I'll try to post pics when I get back to Chattanooga.

Update

So Jason and I have had a long distance marriage for almost 5 months and it is getting ridiculous. I'm not going to rant and rave about it...I am trying to have a more positive outlook on life. I know God has a plan for us and that this is only a test. On a more positive note...I am going to be an Aunt! My best friend Alisha is pregnant and I could not be more thrilled! My official name is Aunt Lala, but if the L's are too much I will settle for Aunt La. I think it's a boy, but there is a 50% chance that I may be wrong so we'll see...

Christmas is Coming Early This Year

Jason is home this weekend so we have decided to go ahead and put up the tree. I am usually not a Christmas decorator until after Thanksgiving, but under the circumstances we have decided to do it early. Jason won't be back in Chattanooga until December 5. I am spending most of my break in B'ham. Jason is doing everything he can to find a job in Chattanooga. I hope it happens before the holidays are over!

It's been a while...

I do realize that I have not been on here in a while...life has been pretty crazy and hectic lately. It's hard having a long distance relationship with your HUSBAND! Just to get everyone up to speed...Jason is still working in B'ham and the house is STILL on the market. I keep pushing my last day at work further and further back. Right now, it looks like I will be there til at least Christmas. I hate the thought of spending the holidays back and forth on the road. It is what it is. We had 4 people view our house last weekend and ALL 4 people put in an offer on another house. Pretty unbelievable! Jason is still looking for a job in Chattanooga because my job is here and we love our house! If you know of anything...let me know!

War Eagle!!!

I am going to the Auburn game in about 12 hours and I am sooooo pumped! I love college football...especially Auburn football. I also get to see Jason, which I haven't seen since Monday and I miss him like crazy. I really hope and pray that someone buys our house soon (Yes, I do know that it has only been on the market for like 4 days). I am ready to live under the same roof with my husband!

I finally have some great news to post on my blog...Jason got a job!!!! After almost 5 LONG months, the anxiety and stress of not having a job has finally ended. The job is in Birmingham and Jason starts the Tuesday after Labor Day. I'm not planning on moving anytime soon, unless we sell our house very quickly. Jason is spending this week doing things around the house so it will be ready to put on the market. I really do hope it sells quickly! I really don't want to be away from Jason to long. I will be sad to leave Chattanooga because I will miss my job and friends and family here, but I think it will be a nice change and a new start for us. Jason is so excited! Thank you so much to everyone who prayed for us during this tough time. Although that aspect of our life is finally turning around, my grandpa Schilling is not doing so well. He had a massive stroke about a week ago and is now is Hospice. He is a really tough old man, but I feel like he has had a good life and I don't want him to suffer anymore. Just keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sad News

I found out about an hour ago that a teacher and friend from Smith has passed away. His name is Sean Hogan and he was only 32. I don't know any of the details right now...all I know is he was at work on Friday and gone today. I can't even believe it right now as I type. Please pray for his family and friends (especially the staff at Smith).
